Nicki minaj lipstick and tutorial

Hey guys!!!!!!!

I just got the Nicki Minaj lipstick by MAC not long ago and I wanted to talk about it so I also decided to do a tutorial :) My eye tutorial was inspired by Nicki Minaj in the Super Bass video. She is wearing 3 or 4 different looks and this is the one where she has the wavy pink wig on.

The eyes:

  • First I primed my lids and put Nyx's Jumbo pencil in cottage cheese all over my lids, up to the crease. One thing about the Jumbo pencils is that they always crease when I put a little too much on, so be careful. Maybelline's 24 hour eyeshadow tattoo in too cool will work great for this.
  • On the inner half half of my lid and crease I used Urban Decay's Aquarius (metallic baby blue) eyeshadow.
  • Then on the outer half I used UD's Pshychedelic Sister (metallic purple) shadow.
  • In between those two shadows I used UD's flipside (darker metallic blue) shadow to help me blend the other two shadows. Make sure you blend them really well.
  • I got a brown shadow from my Coastal Scents 88 shadow palette and put it right on top of where the blue and purple one ended. So right above my crease and I blended it really well.
  • On my brow bone I used UD's swf eyeshadow.
  • I lined my upper lash line, and water lines with UD's 24/7 liner in Zero (black).
  • On my lower lash line I used Aquarius to line it.
  • Don't forget your mascara and fake lashes (if you want some).
I used two palettes for the look and they were UD's feminine palette and the fun palette. All the colors will be in them.

Lips:

I used MAC's viva la glam lip stick which is the one by Nicki Minaj. I LOVE this color even though it is a little bold. I had been wanting it for a while and I finally bought it :) It is very pigmented and it will stay on for a long time. It is probably one of the lip sticks that I have that will stay on the longest.

February Myglam Bag

Hey Guys!!!!!

I finally get to post about the February Myglam :) I was pretty excited about it, here is what it came with:

Xout Shine control (not included on the pic, I forgot) : I am pretty excited about this because I have oily skin and anything that helps with it I am willing to try. I have used it already and so far so good :)

Nyx roll on shimmer: I had low expectations for this but it actually works really well. It rolls on pretty easily and  it did not crease ( I did use a primer first).

Freeman Facial Hydration mask and Dead sea Premier: These were just samples and I am pretty excited to try them as well.

100 dollars gift card for Nu.Me : This was the most exciting thing in the whole bag. I am super excited about it and can't wait to buy a really nice hair straightener.

If it were not for the gift card I would not be so excited about this bag. The two face masks were very small so it is not going to last. The Xout and Nyx roll on are really good but not worth it by itself. They also did include 2 pieces of chocolate which was cute because it came on Valentine's day week :)

I know that they have been sold out of these for a while so I hope that they let more people join soon. Also, some people have been complaining about not getting their bags but I think that they have fixed it this time around.

February Birchbox Review

Happy Valentine's day!

I hope you guys had a great Valentine's day :) I got my February Birchbox in the mail and I am very excited about it because of the beauty blender.
This is the second month that I have gotten a Birchbox but last month I was not that excited about it so I did not review it.

Here is what it came with

Beauty Blender: The beauty blender is the pink sponge you see above. It helps you to put your foundation on and it is supposed to make it look better. I had been wanting to try this for a while but never got around to buying it because it is a little expensive. I have used it and I really like it!!! It is so much faster than using a brush, and the end results looks great. I love how there is a pointy side and a wider side to it because it makes it easier to get foundation all over your face. The pointy side is great for the corners of your nose and under your eyes.

Violent Lips: I had seen this before at Sephora and always thought it was a little too much hahaha. It is these very sparkly lip tattoos that you can apply fast and get cool glittery lips. I bet these will be fun for a photo shoot.

Heart nail filer: This is pretty cute but there is not much to say about it. It is just a heart shaped nail filer haha

Jouer luminizing moisture tint: First of all, this sample is way too small. It is the size of one of those free samples you can get at Sephora. Actually, Sephora might give you more than this. I have tried it on and if you want your skin to glow this is great. It is great for people with dry skin and it has SPF 20 which is awesome. SPF in your face makeup is always a good thing. Now, it is oil free which is great for people with oily skin. A lot of people that do have oily skin do not want any more glow on their skin because all the oil already makes it glow so much. Since they are usually looking for things that will make their skin matte, I don't know they would use this product. It also claims to even out your imperfections and fade fine lines, which it does not really do. This is such light coverage that it is only going to do a little of that, it is going to give you a great healthy glow though. I used it as a primer today and it worked out nicely.

Orofluido beauty elixir: Again, this is a free sample so it is a very small container. I don't mind as much because since it is an oil I won't need a lot of it so I will be able to decide if I like it or not. I am very excited about this!! I am all about making my hair look nicer and shinier. I love organ oil and I can't wait to try this one.

Overall the Birchbox is ok. All that you get that is not a free sample is the beauty blender and the violent lips. I am not really going to use the violent lips that much so all I got is the beauty blender. You only pay $10 a month but compared to Myglam this does not give you as much for your money. I really do not like how most of the stuff you get are free samples that you can get at stores most of the time. Sometimes they will give you those little perfume samples that all you have to do is go to Sephora and ask for one. This month it was worth it just for the beauty blender.

Also, they send different things to different people. Depending on your age and other factors they will send you different things. I know that some people did not get the same things I got this month. If you do want to try it their website is Birchbox.com

I hope you guys liked the review and stay tuned for more :) I will do a Myglam when it gets here. It should be here this week.

Valentines Day look #2

Hey guys!!!!

Here is another look! This one is a lot more neutral and bronze. If you don't like all the pink then you might like this look better than the other one.

As you can see there is not as much pink and the cheeks are bronzed. Here is what I used:

For the eyes:
  • First I primed my lids like always :)
  • I used 3 shades of Bare Escentuals eyeshadow. They are called Mango Smoothie, Ginger Peach and Banana Smoothie. I got mango smoothie (the salmon shadow) and put it all over my lid up to the crease.
  • I took ginger peach ( really shimmery dark peach) and put it on my crease.
  • For my browbone and inner corner I used banana smoothie (shimmery light yellow).
  • Then I got my Maybelline gel liner in blackest black and put it on my lash line and winged it.
  • On my bottom water line I used some white liner to make my eyes pop and it also gives more contrast to that black liner. I think it makes it stand out more.
  • Lastly I put my mascara on
For my face:
  • I used my Mary Kay foundation and put that all over my face.
  • Then used the Maybelline brightening concealer under my eyes and on the corners of my nose.
  • I put my powder Mary Kay foundation on and on top of that (because I got it a while ago and have been wanting to try it) I used my NYC translucent powder. The powder actually works pretty well.
  • On my cheek bone, cheeks, jaw line and temple I used a Physician's formula bronzer. I forgot the name of it and I guess it wore off because I could not find it. I am sorry, I did put a picture of it above.
  • Then I used Lorac's Tantalizer ( I love this bronzer!) right on the top part of my cheek bone to give it a little bit of highlight. The tantalizer is really shimmery so I usually just use it as a highlighter.
  • For my lips I just used a gloss. You can use any you want :)

I hope you guys liked it!!!

Valentine's Day!!!!

Hey guys!!!!!

Here is the look I did for Valentine's Day.

Here is what I used to accomplish the look. I did a pink smoky look with pink cheeks and pink gloss. Lots of pink haha

For my eyes:

  • First I primed my lids and put the Maybelline tattoo shadow in too cool all over my lid, up to the crease. I did this so the shadows would be more vibrant.
  • I got the pink shadow in my Maybelline eyestudio Sunset Seduction palette and put it all over my lid, up to the crease.
  • Then I took the grey shadow and put it all over my crease.
  • I used the brownish shadow on my outer corner
  • I took the the shimmery white/pink and used it on my browbone and a little on my inner corner.
  • Using my Urban Decay's 24/7 liner in Whiskey I liner my upper and lower lash line ( I also smudged the lower lash line a little).
  • With a black eyeliner I lined my upper and lower water line.
  • Don't forget the mascara :)
My face :
  • First I primed my face with Benefit's POREfessional, so that my pores are not too visible.
  • I used my liquid Mary Kay Foundation (one of my favorites) all over my face.
  • Then I used Maybelline's dark circle eraser concealer. The shade I use is brightener, so it is really more of a brightener instead of concealer. I use it under my eyes and on the corners of my nose.
  • On top of that I used my powder MK foundation to give me a lot of coverage and a flawless look.
  • I took my Benefit bronzer in Hoola and put it on my cheek bone, temple and jaw line.
  • Then for my blush I used Milani's baked blush in Rose D'Oro. I put that on my cheeks and a little on my cheek bone.
  • To highligh the top of my cheek bone I used Benefit's high beam. It gives you a nice pink glow.
  • To finish off I used a pink lip gloss.

I hope you liked it!!!

New Findings Review (L'oreal, Covergirl and Maybelline)

Hey guys!!!

I bought a couple of new things not long ago and decided to go a review. I bought 2 new shadows from L'oreal, 2 liners from Maybelline and a lipstick from Covergirl.

L'oreal Paris Infallible 24 hr eye shadows : I got the infinite sky (blue) and the sultry smoke (grey). I really like these so far. I did find them a little hard to blend but they are very pigmented (especially the blue one). They did stay really well but I always use primer so I can't say if they would last on itself. They look like they are pressed loose shadows. It comes with a grey lid/cover  that you put right on top of the shadow so it does not get loose (you will see it on the picture). You have to keep lid/cover there or else the shadow will break ( at the store they had some broken ones that people took the grey piece off and did not put back). Overall I really like them, and they have really nice colors as well.

Covergirl Blastflipstick: I got the one in stunner, it has a bright glittery gold side and a bright orange side. I really like the way these colors look together. The colors by itself look fine but together they look awesome. These do have a weird taste that is hard to explain, but I can put up with it. They do last a really long time, it goes away eventually but it stains your lips and stays there for a while. You also can feel the glitter on your lip, so it does not feel smooth. Overall they are ok, I love the color I chose though so I will keep wearing it.

Here is the gold side, it actually looks a lot more gold. My camera is not doing it justice.

Orange side, again it does look a little brighter than this.

Together, this one actually looks more like the color in real life. Its an orange with gold and glitter

Maybelline Masterdrama eyeliners : I have the Midnight master (black) and Vibrant violet (purple). There are really good but I like Maybelline's gel liner better for my waterline. They are great for your lash line, and stay there for the whole day. It did come off my water line not long after. They also go on very smoothly, and are vibrant. I really like the purple because I have been looking for more of a violet liner and most of the ones I could find where plum.

Here is a look I did using the infallible eyeshadows, and the two liners.

If you liked it then subscribe :)
